John Deere ya ha hecho la presentacion de las nueva serie 8030 que sustituye a la 8020 en Tejas a sus concesionarios americanos.

La transmision Autopower es opcional menos para el 8530 en que es la unica disponible, tipo 7920. Es una nueva version mas reforzada i con mayores prestaciones. La Powershift automatizada esta disponible en los otros 4, con nuevas opciones de manejo. Aseguran que la nueva transmision Autopower del 8030 iguala en eficiencia energetica a la del powershift.
Mayor visibilidad delantera i menor ruido en cabina segun el fabricante...
Lo de half track es el tradicional sistema T de John Deere, no pueden llevar Autopower, lo qual seria una clara ventaja frente a los CAT i los Quadtrack que utiliza Case IH... solo es un cambio de nomenclatura halftrack frente quadtrack creo yo...

Es evidente que el JD es mucho mas robusto y durará mucho más que el Fendt.

es un 8020 pero con algunos liegeros cambios, veo ke tambien llevan el mitico powershift. pq cambiar mas cosas si los 8020 son ya casi perfectos, son la tercera serie de los 8000. 8000-8100-8020 y 8030. lo mejor de lo mejor

"With more power, improved engine response, and up to a 43 percent PTO torque rise, the operator will get more efficient performance from these engines," says Cory Reed, factory marketing manager, Waterloo Tractor Works. "They're designed to produce higher torque at lower engine speeds, and this means better fuel economy in the field."
Engine efficiency is enhanced with a new cooling package, including the patented Vari-Cool™ fan drive and cooling system. The mechanical-type fan runs only at the necessary speed to meet the cooling requirements of the tractor. This variable speed design allows for greater efficiency in fuel and power.
"By designing our own engines, cooling systems, and other tractor elements," emphasizes Reed, "we can provide integrated technology to reach efficiency levels unprecedented in the marketplace. In fact, for a given amount of work completed, we're confident in stating that the 8030 Series Tractors will provide a 2 percent to 5 percent reduction in fuel consumed when compared with the models they replace."
Two transmission options are available on the 8030 Series Tractors. The 16-Speed PowerShift is base equipment on all models except the 8530 Tractor. This field-proven transmission with 16 forward and four reverse speeds features automatic shifting, which saves fuel under varying load conditions. Updated "closed-loop" shifting improves overall shift performance.
"The new Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) with right-hand reverser is base equipment on the 8530 Tractor and optional on other 8030 Series wheel tractors," explains Reed. "This transmission, also a John Deere design, offers smooth, seamless shifts without clutching and unlimited speed choices from .03 – 26 mph. An optional left-hand reverser is also available to meet differing customer needs and to enhance overall operation of the IVT. Operators will truly appreciate the ease of operation and the extreme efficiency of the IVT."
The 8030 Series Tractors feature the large CommandView™ Cab, the ultimate in operator comfort, control, and visibility. The John Deere CommandCenter and sound resonators enhance the clean, quiet cab environment. The optional ActiveSeat™ suspension system adjusts 200 times per second to drastically reduce excessive seat movement for the operator. This exclusive system allows for faster field speeds and greatly enhances operator comfort and control.
"John Deere tractors have always been known for convenient color-coded controls to make operating the tractor easy and convenient," explains Reed. "The 8030 Series Tractors are no exception. The right-hand console keeps everything within arm's reach. Using the CommandCenter, the operator can monitor the tractor's performance in areas such as fuel usage per acre or hour, time until empty, percent slip, area efficiency, and other information to help maintain productivity in the field."
New to the 8030 Series Tractors are the optional GreenStar Display (GSD) 2100 or 2600 color monitors that show critical tractor functions. Designed with push- button controls, and a touchscreen on the GSD 2600, the new displays are mounted within easy reach of the operator along with push-button remote display controls that are conveniently mounted in the CommandArm of the tractors.
The GSD also operates guidance systems such as GreenStar AutoTrac, which is fully compatible and highly integrated with the 8030 Series Tractors. A new GSD connector enhances component mobility from machine to machine and allows easy plug and play in all new John Deere tractors.
By using AutoTrac, operators can gain even more efficiency in the field by minimizing overlap, reducing operator fatigue, and enhancing overall field performance and fuel efficiency.
"Other important features include a new hydraulic system with redesigned hydraulic pump circuits, two filters, and a 1,500-hour service interval," says Reed. "The new system increases hydraulic oil flow at lower engine rpm, which adds responsiveness for all hydraulic functions and improves steering, especially with front dual wheels."
A new best-in-class Category 4 Narrow Three-Point Hitch with a convertible Category 4 Narrow (convertible to Category 3) Quick Coupler allows operators to adapt to strip-till or no-till practices that use heavier implements and seeding tools. The new hitch combined with a beefier quick coupler and the higher horsepower 8530 Tractor (275 PTO-hp) adds more flexibility and efficiency in farming practices.
"We've really done our homework to bring these new, innovative tractors to the marketplace," says Reed. "We've got a new, more powerful engine with better fuel economy; a new IVT transmission that will bring more efficiency to overall tractor performance; and state-of-the-art electronics, including a new GreenStar Display to enhance precision ag practices and other tractor functions. Peloncho, esta va dirigido sobre todo para tí.
Primero, la potencia que anuncia JD en sus páginas americas es potencia a la TDF y deberas esperar a que la serie 30 se empieze a comercializar en España para saber que potencia tenemos bajo la norma EG97.
Segundo, la potencia a TDf de un Fendt 818 es de 160 Cv. Esto aparece en la página propia de Fendt.
Tercero, el desarrollo de potencia y la duralabilidad de un motor no se corresponde a su cilindrada, sino a estudio de rendimientos y al material utilizado para su fabricación.
Cuarto, con la llegada de los motores de rail común, necesarios para poder cumplir los acuerdos anticontaminación, subiran las cilindradas en todas las marcas para ppder producir un motor con mejor calidad precio. Te lo explico, producir un motor de 5700 cm3 para desarrollar 200 CV es mas caro que producirlo de 8000.
Quinto, el concepto de fabricación de Fendt y de JD es totalmente diferente tendras que ser capaz de saber cual es mejor para nuestra agricultura sí un tractor multifuncional  o un tractor de tiro.
