This will only go for public base stations with a solid (not changing) IP-number. If you use your own base station your IP-number normally changes every day. That a bit difficult.

It is not so accurate as RTK but still better as EGNOS and it is smoothy as by RTK. You don't need a base-station. You cann even let it update through a WLAN connection at home and you don't need the GSM-stick with the mobele-internet. These emphemeris dates are updatet every 6 hours and if not whil...

You can also use the PPP-kinematic mode of RTKnavi. Then you don't need a steady connection to the internet.
